Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, Sri Amritsar

Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar was consituted by Parliament of India in 1925. It is an Institution which look after the Gurudwaras and Sikh Religious places situated in Punjab, Haryana , Himachal Pradesh and Union - Territory of Chandigarh. Different states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Utter Pradesh etc. are also being represented in this 170 members body. In addition to religious preaching the SGPC is also providing the service in the Educatiobn, Medical/Dental field. SGRD Dental Institute was inaugurated in 1992 and Medical Institute was started in 1997. Both are one of the leading and top Institutes in Northern India.

S.G.P.C. is proud of Dental Institute and Medical Institute which is spread over 100 acre land near village Vallah and Dental Collge is siturated in the city of Amritsar on G.T.Road having a specaious centrally air conditioned building. Dental College runs BDS and MDS Courses in various specailites whereas the Medical Institute runs MBBS and MD/MS Courses in various Specialties. The students of Dental Institute serve in various parts of the World especially in USA, Canada and other European Countries and the hard working doctors are spreading the religious progrmme of SGPC and are keeping the name of the Institute at the top in such countries.

I hope that doctors of both these Institutions will have a special place in the Medical and Dental field. I pray to Almighty God for their successful career in the future.
